Nondiscrimination Policy

Seeds in Common is committed to providing a professional and inclusive work environment for all employees. Our non-discrimination policy ensures that every individual, regardless of race, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by law, is treated with respect and fairness. We encourage open communication and invite employees to report any instances of discrimination or harassment to their manager or Human Resources Department for prompt investigation.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for all forms of harassment, including sexual, racial, religious, or language-based harassment. Sexual harassment encompasses unwanted advances, inappropriate comments, or accessing pornography on company-owned equipment. Additionally, romantic relationships between managers and employees in their reporting line are strictly prohibited. Discrimination based on race, national origin, ethnicity, or language is also not tolerated, and employees are free to speak their preferred language outside of official meetings.

Seeds in Common is dedicated to accommodating employees with disabilities and ensuring their equal treatment and opportunities in the workplace. We strictly prohibit retaliation against individuals who report harassment or discrimination, and all complaints will be thoroughly investigated with confidentiality maintained to the fullest extent possible. Employees are encouraged to participate in investigations, and any form of retaliation against them will result in serious consequences, including termination.

In the event of harassment or discrimination, employees are encouraged to report incidents to any human resources employee, their direct manager/supervisor, or anyone in their supervisory line. Reports will be investigated promptly and thoroughly, and both parties involved will be treated with respect throughout the process. Any disciplinary actions resulting from investigations will be commensurate with the severity of the issue. Seeds in Common is committed to upholding these policies and fostering a safe and inclusive workplace for all employees.
